CORPUS
JURIS PUBLISHING CO. DONATES
PROVING
FEDERAL CRIMES – 2001 EDITION BOOKS TO CITY COLLEGE STUDENTS
Conyers,
Georgia September 2, 2006 – Corpus Juris Publishing Company
attended, as an exhibitor and bronze sponsor, the 12th
Annual Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI)
Conference in Orlando, Florida from August 31 through September
2, 2006. During the 3-day conference for licensed Private
Investigators, Corpus Juris President, Robert H. Burch
met officials from City College, an institution of higher
learning with campus locations in the Florida cities of
Casselberry. Gainesville, Ft. Lauderdale (main campus) and
Miami. City College was also an exhibitor and sponsor at the
FALI Conference. City College offers AS and BS degree programs
and is the only college in the United States offering an AS
degree in Private Investigation Services. Michelle M. Morton,
a licensed private investigator and the Program Administrator
for the Private Investigation Services degree program, reviewed
Proving Federal Crimes
– 2005 Edition and
Follow The Money, liked
them and is recommending that all four campuses place copies of
both titles in the four libraries as reference, research and
resource books for students enrolled in their Legal Assisting
and Private Investigation Service programs. Corpus Juris
determined from Ms. Morton that the earlier edition of
Proving Federal Crimes,
would be a very valuable supplemental text for these students,
and donated 34 copies to be distributed free to students at the
discretion of the school. There was a formal presentation of
these books in the presence of assembled FALI members by Mr.
Burch and Mark Murman, FALI First Vice President.
Corpus Juris became known as the little publishing company with
a big heart for educating students. These books will serve a
good cause and will help City College students learn vital
elements of the criminal justice system.
